Digital Mammography Workshop

This workshop is meant to provide the attendee with the background knowledge necessary to make intelligent decisions about when to begin the transition as well as about specific equipment choices. Discuss the transition from analog to full field digital mammography and additional novel applications of the digital technique. All are welcome to participate in this workshop. Attendance at this workshop will enable those receiving AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ to acquire an additional Digital credit.

MR Guided Biopsy

Participants have the unique opportunity for understanding the basic MR guided biopsy, needle localization parameters and requirements for appropriate coil, needle and approach selection.

All are welcome to participate in this workshop. Attendance at this workshop will enable those receiving AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ to acquire an additional MR credit.

Ultrasound Guided Biopsy

This is a hands-on workshop where participants will have the opportunity to learn successful techniques for performing ultrasound guided core and vacuum assisted biopsy, FNA, and needle localization, and use different types of biopsy devices.

All are welcome to participate in this workshop. Attendance at this workshop will enable those receiving AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ to acquire an additional Ultrasound credit.

Hands-On Mammographic Positioning

Mammography-the most difficult radiography procedure to perform! Come join us for a hands-on positioning workshop where we will focus on the most common positioning deficiencies found on the routine views, what makes them occur and how to correct them. Technologists will be allowed the opportunity to participate to enhance their skills and work out any difficulties they may have or wish to discuss. You don’t want to miss out on this hands-on educational opportunity!
